Terrace of 3 houses, now shops. Early-mid C19. Limestone
ashlar, party wall stacks and pantile mansard roof.
Double-depth plan. Each of 3 storeys and attic; 2-window
range. Later ground floors: No.16 has an early C20 public
house front with outer doorways with rusticated jambs, and a
central flush canted bay with glazing bars; No.18 has a late
C19 bank front with 4 semicircular arches with parabolic coved
surrounds, panelled jambs with central roundels, right-hand
2-leaf 6-panel door, and paired consoles to the ends of the
fascia; No.20 has a shop front with a left-hand doorway.
Pilasters above to overlapping cornices, and parapet. 6/6-pane
sashes, dormers, and bowed cast-iron basket balconies to
No.20. INTERIOR not inspected.
