TL 1244 OLD WARDEN CHURCH END

House, formerly 3 Ongley estate cottages. Early C19. Colourwashed roughcast
rendered walls. Thatched roof. Cottage ornee, of 3-room plan, one storey and
attics, with rounded ends to W and E providing additional room at each end to
ground floor. 4 casements to ground floor, 4 eyebrow dormers with casements,
all windows with 2 pointed-arched lights under round head, ground floor ones
retaining leaded lights. 3 thatched trellis porches, linked to form verandah.
Central doorway has C20 glazed door, 2 flanking doorways blocked. 2 ridge
stacks with red brick bases and variety of Tudor style pots with embattled
tops. C20 lean-to addition to rear.
