Cottage in row, formerly two. C18-C19. Local grey lias stone cut and squared, north end in red brick; double Roman clay
tiles with simple gables to south half, thatched to north; brick chimney stacks. Bays 1 and 2 of 2 storeys, bays 3 and
4 single storey with attic, of two separate builds. Bays 1 and 2 have early C20 casement windows, that to lower bay 1
under stone lintels; to lower bay 2 boarded door in simple opening: bays 3 and 4 have 3-light horizontal bar casement
windows below, and to upper bay 3 a 2-light plain casement set in thatched dormer. Interior not seen. Attached on south
side to Duchess Cottage (qv).
