Terraced house. c. 1729 by John Barnes, bricklayer, with early to mid
C.19 stucco trim added. Brown brick with rusticated stucco ground
floor, quoins and window dressings, concealed roof. 3 storeys and
basement as built. 3 windows wide. Doorway to left with stucco
pilastered architrave and segmental pediment. Ground floor glazing
bar sashes, voussoir and vermiculated keystone flat arches. Upper
floors have architraved French casements and sashes, the 1st floor
architraves eared with pediments and cornices over 2nd floor windows.
Crowning stucco cornice. 1st floor wrought iron balcony. Arrow head
cast iron area railings. Intact completely panelled interior with
passage-hall and closet wing with angle fireplaces; dog leg closed
string staircase with turned balusters and column newels; bolection
chimney pieces and box cornices etc.
