Tall, shaped with delicate, flowing decoration and relief carved vase in round panel at top, to: Mary wife of George Adamson d 15th Apr 1797 aged 34 years. -Dear loving faithful partner now farewell/ With whom it was my happiness to dwell/ With whom I was united heart with heart/ Farewell how painful is the task to part/ O ponder well her sudden fall/ Ye thoughtless blooming fair ones all/ Ye little thimk who read this stone/ How soon the case may be your own-. signed by Jones.
