Rectangular slate with two round-faced winged angels, divided vertically, to: John son of John Marriott by Martha his wife d.Jul 11th 1723 in his 2nd year, and Robert son of above d. Mar 1st 1723 aged 2 weeks. -Near to this stone two babes do lie/ Who both dyd in their infancy/ Short was their race long is their rest/ God takes them soon whom he loves (best)-. -For of such is the Kingdom of heaven-.
