Terrace of four houses.One lintel reads: "WJR 1860". For dye works company. Stucco with pebble-dash and slate roof. Two storeys, six bays. Pebble-dash first floor with stucco strips to angles; wide eaves and verges. Windows have chamfered reveals and label moulds, continuous to first floor; three-light horizontally sliding sashes; first and sixth bays have casements. Entrances have label moulds, those to Nos.13 and 16 to returns. Three cross-axial stacks.
An interesting example of early workers' housing.
