- Lakeside Cottages
Terrace of 3 houses. c.1862. For dye works company. Stucco
with pebble-dash and hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. 6 bays.
Pebble-dash 1st floor and quoins; wide eaves. Segmental-
headed windows have label moulds and are sashed with
vertical glazing bars. Segmental-headed entrances have label
moulds and 3-fielded-panel doors, the panels being vertical.
No.3 has casements. 3 cross-axial stacks. An interesting
example of early workers' housing.
