2 houses. Early C19 with part of C17 and C20 extensions.
Datestone to rear garden wall reads: "PEP/1652". Dressed
stone with slate roofs and felted roof, possibly over stone
slate. Eastern part forms Nunnery Cottage and is early C19.
2 storeys, 3 bays. Ashlar base and cornice. Windows have
wedge lintels, and 3-light small-paned casements, the upper
panes with round-headed Y-tracery glazing; 2-light window
over entrance. Round-headed entrance has archivolt with key
and fanlight with intersecting glazing bars; C20 door.
Gable-end brick stacks. Left return has sash with glazing
bars and 1st floor horizontally sliding sash. Western part
forms Mount Farm Cottage. South facade has 7-light double-
chamfered-mullioned window with drip stone to ground floor;
lst floor has similar 5-light window and casement; plain
entrance. Brick ridge stack with diaper. Left return
rebuilt; rear extension. Interior has chamfered beams and
fireplace bressumer.
