House. 1820. Ashlar with dressed stone returns and slate
roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. 1st floor sill band and top frieze
cornice and deep parapet. Central raised panel has oval
cartouche reading "J & E ATHERTON/1755/W. ATHERTON/FECIT/
1820". Lettering around oval: "DEI PROVIDENTIA HEREDITAS
NOSTRA". Windows have casements. Entrance has C20 canopy and
door. Brick gable-end stacks.
