Pair of cottages. Early C19. Watershot masonry, ashlar quoins, stone slate
roof. 3 storeys to south front. 2 bays. Each bay has doorway with sill tie and
flat faced mullioned window of 5 lights to each floor. Right hand return wall
has taking-in door (blocked) to 2nd floor. Central stack to ridge. Formerly
connected with textile manufacture. A mill dam is to be found cut into the
hillside just above the cottages.
