Laithe-house. Early C19. Hammer-dressed stone, ashlar quoins, stone slate
roof. 2 storeys. Single-cell house. Doorway with monolithic jambs and flat
faced mullioned windows, of 5 lights to ground floor (one mullion removed) and
8 lights to 1st floor. Semi-circular arched cart entry. Barn has been extended
late C19. One stack to ridge at junction of house and barn. A good example of
its type.
