attached barn

Laithe house. Late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot stone, stone slate roof.
2 storeys. Quoins. At left doorway with tie-stones. Large cart entry with
semi-circular arch with Venetian window over. Single cell house to right hand
end has stepped 3-light window, with same over. Now attached to right hand end
is single storey building with quoins, stepped 3-light window and dressed stack
originally the kitchen. Left hand return wall of barn has square headed
ventilators, arch headed light with columbarium over with circular owlhole to
apex. Right hand gable has doorway at first floor level from the bank.
