Small factory or warehouse, now empty. Early C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone
slate roof. 3 storeys and attic. Gable fronts street, has doorway with tie-
stones and shop window to left. 1st floor, 2 windows with projecting sill and
tie-stones to jambs. 2nd floor, 5-light window with projecting sill, small
glazed panes. 3-light stepped attic light. Chimney to left hand corner.
Taking-in doors (blocked) to each floor to right hand. 9-bay return with
windows with plain stone surrounds connected with tie-stones. Left hand return
wall follows road alignment, has shouldered arched cart entry. Right hand
return wall has segmental arched entry (blocked to form window), and 1st floor
taking-in door. One of the earliest industrial buildings of the town, now
surrounded by later development, which preserves its fenestration.
