Milestone, probably mid C19. Flat-topped triangular stone with
rounded front corner. Ordnance survey former benchmark on top. Plain
sans-serif incised lettering: PRESCOT 7 MILES, LIVERPOOL 15 MILES,
WARRINGTON 3 MILES.
