House at right end of terrace, once used as shop and incorporating former bakery.
C18, altered early C19. Rubble stone walls, left section with stone slate roof,
right section with slate roof. 2 storeys. In left section, blocked doorway.
Ground floor has one sash with glazing bars. 2 similar sashes on first floor.
Right section has, on ground floor, a single-panel door flanked by 3-light
sashes with glazing bars replacing shop windows. First floor has 2 sashes with
glazing bars. Internally, the old bake ovens remain. (RCHM, Monument 108.
Dorset. Vol. II). A National Trust property.
