Mid C19. Public house. Hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Pitched stone slate
roof. Coped gables on carved footstones. 2 stacks (1 ashlar). 2 storeys.
South east elevation (symmetrical):Ground floor; central doorway with squared
pilasters and semicircular fanlight with glazing bars. Doorway surmounted
by open pediment. Two single light windows with stone surrounds and sashes
to either side of doorway. Lean-to extension to south west gable has doorway
with stone surrounds and tie-stones and single light window on south east
side. First floor; five single light windows with stone surrounds and sashes.
North west elevation (symmetrical); ground floor; central lean-to extension
with doorway and window. Two single light windows with stone surrounds and
sashes. One small single light window. First floor; central staircase window
with semicircular head and tie-stones. Three single light windows, as above.
