Early-mid C18 with alterations. 3 storeys, 5 windows. Painted brick front with
parapet. High pitched roof renewed in asbestos. Rusticated stucco ground floor
to lst floor cill band. Sash windows. Mid C19 moulded stucco architraves on 2nd
floor fail to conceal gauged brick arches. Other windows have pilasters and hooded
cornices on console brackets. Upside down door of 6 fielded panels with cornice
head and plain fanlight in round architrave with triple key block. Doric doorcase
with engaged columns, triglyph friezes with guttae, mutuled cornices and open pediment.

Nos 235, 239 & 243 form a group with Nos 247 and 249 which are of local
interest.
