C18 timber-framed and plastered cottages, one storey and attics. The windows are small casements, three plain boarded doors. Roof thatched, with one dormer window. The south-west gable end has an external chimney stack.

Old White Horse, 1 and 2 White Horse Cottages, St Michaels Cottages, Vale House, The Folly, Tyle Barn, Rose Cottage, Butlers, House and Mount Stores, with Old Post House, Parsonage Cottage and House of Retreat form a group.
