A late C18 or early C19 timber-framed and plastered house. The ground storey is faced in brick, colourwashed, There are later additions at the rear. Two storeys. Three window range, double-hung sashes. The windows on the first storey have glazing bars. The ground storey has two later C19 splayed bays. Roof tiled.

Old Post House, Parsonage Cottage and House of Retreat with Old White Horse, 1 and 2 White Horse Cottages, St Michaels Cottages, Vale House, The Folly, Rose Cottage, Butlers and House and Mount Stores form a group
