A C18 timber-framed and plastered house. Two storeys. Three window range C20 casements. A modern porch projects on the front and there is a boarded door. Roof tiled, hipped. A timber-framed and weatherboarded wing extends at the rear.

Old White Horse, 1 and 2 White Horse Cottages, St Michaels Cottages, Vale House. The Folly, Tyle Barn, Rose Cottage, Butlers, House and Mount Stores, with Old Post House, Parsonage Cottage and House of Retreat form a group.
