Farmhouse. Core of late C17/early C18, much enlarged to east and
north in late C19/early C20. Core of rubble stone, remainder
coursed stone, with partly rendered rear, alternating flush quoins,
stone slate roof, originally stone end stacks with moulded cornice
to main range now joined on right to later wings, 2 large lateral
stone stacks to later wings. Single original range with 2
parallel gabled rear wings, with 2 large wings to east, all of 2
storeys and attic. Main section has 4 windows, 2-light stone
mullions with relieving arches and leaded casements, with square
hoodmoulds to ground floor and C20 glazed double doors in bay 2
from left. Two gabled dormers probably of C19. Wing to east has
3-light stone mullion with square hoodmould to ground and first
floor on south side. Fenestration of later ranges generally stone
mullions, both ranges having 2-storey canted bays to east with
swept roof. Long single-storey wing to rear on left, containing
entrance porch, probably of C20.
