of Street Farmhouse

Small barn, part converted to cart shed now garage. Dated 1818
with initials SS on south gable end. Rubble stone with
alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof half-hipped to south,
corrugated iron towards north end. Opposed projecting gabled cart
entries immediately north of drop in roof line, with timber lintel
and double doors to east, but blocked to form single door up 3
stone steps to west. Corrugated iron roof to section to north
with stable door to east, and to later lean-to in south east
corner. Taller southern section has 2 slit vents in plain stone
surrounds above lean-to, loft door to south gable with inserted
brick quoins and iron steps to ground, part altered west side with
brick infill and relieving arches in end of upper half over former
2-bay cart shed with stone dividing pillar and large timber lintel
and two C20 sliding doors. Plank door with timber lintel
immediately to left.
