16/168 Stable at Street Farm
GV II

Small stable block. Late C18/early C19. Rubble stone, with
alternating flush quoins, hipped stone slate roof. Five bays with
fixed 9-pane light to left, centre and right, with shuttered loft
opening over to left. Between, to left and right of centre,
stable door, with shuttered loft opening over to right. All
ground floor openings with plain stone voussoirs, loft openings
with timber lintel. Small lean-to garage to left with brick above
opening, not of special interest. A modest building but forming
an important group with Street Farmhouse (q.v.) and the barn
(q.v.).
