Ditches Hall
GV II
Sundial. Probably mid-C18. Sandstone. Vase-shaped baluster with
moulded plinth and ornamental capping; leaf decoration to bottom and
festooned garland above. Later circular top has lead and brass plate
inscribed "1LET NOT6/THE SUN GO/DOWN UPON THY/1WRATH4", although the
lettering looks later than the date indicated. Included for group
value.
