6/149 Gate piers approx.
- 20m south-west
of Lowe Hall

Gate piers. Circa 1666 and late C19. Late C19 red brick square piers
with C17 moulded stone capping and pineapple finials. The finials
are probably amongst the earliest representations of pineapples, first
grown in Britain during 1660's. Included for group value.
