An early C19 brick house, colour washed. 2 storeys. 3 window range on the north-west
front, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals. A central 6-panel
door approached by Steps has a rectangular fanlight, panelled pilasters and a cornice hood supported on paired brackets. Roof slate, hipped. Wings extend
at the rear.

Nos 9 and 12 together with Nos 1 to 3 (consec) Romans Place form a group.
