One building. Painted roughcast. Mid C18. Three storeys. No 58 has
old slate roof, No 59 has modern asbestos pantiles. Two brick stacks
and one modern stone. Rusticated quoins and moulded cornice with small
modillions and parapet. Eight windows in plain stone frames with rusticated
keystones. Six windows to No 59. First floor of No 58 has three-light
late C19 window with plain pilasters and entablature. Similar pilasters
to shop front, modern fascia. Two small C19 shop windows with thin carved
pilasters flank centre doorway. Original door of six panels, three-paned
fanlight and an early C19 stone case with engaged columns, triglyph frieze
and moulded pediment. Passage door to left to No 58 with rusticsted keystone
and shaped jambs.
