Warehouse, office, and drying floor; conversion in progress at time of survey
(1986). Probably early to mid C19, but in 3 builds. Red brick in English
Garden Wall bond (3+1), slate roof. West gable towards road has 2 vertical
joints, distinguishing the 3 parts: warehouse to right, time-office in
centre, drying floor to left; centre and right are 2-storeyed; stone gable
coping; south side of 5 bays has central segmental-headed wagon entrance with
long-and-short jambstones, stepped voussoirs, flat-arched windows. North
side and west corner of this part (drying floor) has low brick buttresses
making 4 bays on this side, each bay containing 2 round-headed arches to
fireboxes of hypocaust. Large chimney at east end, another on slope of roof.
