Row of 3 adjacent headstones. All are C18 in memory of members of the May
family. All are upright sandstone slabs standing between 400-500mm high. All
have shaped heads. The heads of the right two are inscribed with crossed
arrows. All 3 have fielded panels. The left one is inscribed in Roman serif
capitals, the other two include lower case letters. The left one is
illegible. The centre one records the death of Richard May in 1755 and the
right one records the death of his wife Sarah in 1761.
