Detached cottage. Probably early C19, incorporating earlier work. Ham stone near ashlar, with C20 west rebuild in
roughly squared and coursed rubble; plain clay tiled roof between stepped coped gables; stone rubble chimney stack. Two
storeys, 3 bays. Hollow-chamfer mullioned windows in shallow chamfered recesses, the lower with labels; upper windows
2-light, with small pitched roof gables over, lower windows 2-light, with a 2-light at mezzinine level between bays
2/3: lover bay 3 has moulded cambered-arched doorway under deep lintol with label: bay 1 rebuilt in mid C20; the west
gable has a blocked doorway at first floor level. Small stone porch added to rear of east gable. Interior not seen.
