Babington monument detail. At the top, a coronet is supported by a Talbot (hound) and a dragon. Below is a Tudor rose and fleurs de lys outside. Below that, a half dragon crest above an heraldic shield or saddle supported by two leopards. These latter have humanoid (anthropomorphic) limbs. Behind them are Babes, and all stand on Tuns, hence Babyontun equals Babington. (Photo May 2008).
