DENBY DALE ROAD (East Side)
Bridge over Ings Beck

II

East Side: low bridge parapet of coursed squared stone with wide, rounded coping, railings missing. In centre a milestone dated 1825, signed J L Tyldesley, surveyor, giving distances to Buckton, Stalybridge, Manchester and two other places now illegible. Over the water a handsome segmental arch with cut voussoirs and keystone supporting band at former road level.

West side: not of special interest, the arch has been built over; only the parapet remains.
