A shop and former dwelling dating to the early C19, with C20 alterations. It may incorporate an earlier structure.

MATERIALS: the principal elevation is of red brick with stone details. The building has a slate roof.

PLAN: narrow range to the street with an extension at the rear of the building.

EXTERIOR: the building is four storeys high and has a cellar. The principal elevation has a stone-coped parapet. The ground-floor shopfront dates to the mid-C20 with early-C21 alterations. The first and second floors each have two six-over-six sash windows, and on the third floor there are two three-over-six sash windows. All have flat arches above with keystone and voussoirs, and projecting stone sills.
