Sharrow Head House

II

House. Dated 1763, with early and mid C20 alterations. Brick,
partly pebbledashed, with hipped stone slate roof and 3 coped
brick ridge stacks. Modillion wooden eaves and pediment. 2
storeys; 4 window range. Windows are wooden cross casements
with brick flat arches. Projecting centre with 2 windows on
each floor under a pediment containing a Diocletian window. On
either side, a single window on each floor. Pebbledashed right
return has a C20 door. Rear has a recessed pebbledashed centre
and C20 2 storey gabled addition to left.
