Farmhouse, now dwelling. C16, refenestrated C17 and late C20, reroofed C19 and extended one bay east with south range
of farmbuildings adjoining. Roughcast over rubble, shallow pitch double Roman tiled roof with overhanging eaves and
decorative ridge tiles, brick stacks between first and second bays right and to left of through passage. Plan: 3-cell
and cross passage facing south, inner rood with external access only and apparently always a store, east end one bay
addition with south-east range of farmbuildings. Two storeys, 5 bays, first floor C20 metal and Cl9 wooden windows,
ground floor left C20 metal window, 3-light hollow chamfer painted stone mullioned window under hoodmould; entrance
asked by C20 porch, 4-panel door with inserted lights, 4-light ovolo moulded painted stone mullioned window under
hoodmould, C20 metal window end bay right. Rear elevation not seen, said to have 2-light octagonal wooden mullioned
window lighting kitchen, and butt joint to east marking Cl9 addition. Farmbuiiding abutting south- east of random
rubble, corrugated iron roof, unlit on south front. Interior not seen, said to contain stud and panel partition to
right of through passage with evidence to suggest that there was a built-in bench on the kitchen side, chamfered cross
beam with curved step and runout stops and large blocked fireplace with recess beside, possibly a former curing
chamber. To left of through passage rebuilt brick fireplace against cross passage wall but with evidence of original
stone stack above. Roof replaced but with evidence of earlier long tenon jointed cruck truss construction. (VAG Report,
