Farmhouse. Mid-C18 with earlier, possibly C17, core. Red brick with
some fragments of C17 framing; plain tile roof; C17 brick ridge stack
with star shaped shafts and C18 external end stack. C17 baffle-entry
house aligned north-west/south-east facing south-west. In the C18 a
major addition was erected to the north-west which may have involved
the demolition of part of the C17 house. C18 house to the left: 3
storeys, reduced proportions to the second floor, dentilled eaves band;
2 window front, C20 bow windows to ground floor, C20 first floor casement
within C18 openings with segmental heads. The second floor retains C18
casements with leaded panes. Lower C17 building of 2 storeys and attic
attached to the right with right hand gable, left hand glazed door in
front of the stack, and C20 casements in C18 openings with segmental heads.
Interior not inspected but may be of interest.
