School 1843, for Lord Mayor and Aldermen of London. Red brick in Flemish
bond with white painted stone dressings, slate roof. One storey, six bays.
Symmetrical elevation: bays 2 and 5 have polygonal bays with square-headed
mullioned windows and coped parapet beneath pediment with shaped kneelers,
stone coping, and ball finials. Narrow oblong openings to centres of
gables. Other bays have 2-light square-headed windows with horizontal
glazing bars. Inscription to centre records foundation of school. Coped
gables.
