VICARAGE ROAD TQ 75 SW HUNTON 2/93 Cheveney Farm Cottages GV II Farmhouse, now house pair. Late C18 facade to a possibly C17 building, with C20 alterations. Chequered red and grey brick to facade and gable ends. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and garret. Plat band and eaves band. Plain stone-coped parapet. Half-hipped roof. Tall broad central ridge stack. Regular 3-window front of two 16-pane sashes in open boxes and slightly narrower blocked central window, all with segmental heads. Central double doors, each of 2 fielded panels with top light, in moulded wooden architrave under open wooden porch. Parallel rear range with lower eaves, tall rear stack and 12-pane first-floor sash with segmental head. Interior not inspected. Formerly known as Cheveney Farm.
