A mid C19 buff coloured brick malthouse: 2 storeys and attics, 7 window
range, fixed lights. There is a central projecting weather-boarded loft
hoist. Roof pantiled (C20). A long wing extends to the rear. Roof
slates.

No 33 and Smithy at the rear, Nos 35 to 41 (consec), Nos 43 to 47 (odd),
Nos 51 to 53 (consec), Malthouse adjoining No 53, No 55 and the house
adjoining No 55 and Quayside House form a group with Nos 54 to 64 (even)
Quayside.
