Formerly Nos 18 to 20 (consec) Southbroom Place.
Late C18 block of 3 houses. 2 storeys red brick on brick plinth. Gable end
slate roof. On 1st floor 4 windows alternate with 5 blind windows. No 81
has a slightly canted Cl9 2 light casement with rendered apron and shallow
leaded roof. 6 windows, 2 blind, on ground floor. All windows recessed sash,
glazing bars intact, flat rubbedd brick arches, block sills. The ground floor
windows have cast iron rails in front. 3 recessed 6 panel doors, top panels
glazed. No 85 has a slightly later extension of 2 storeys and attic, red
brick, with mansard slate roof. 1 dormer and 1 window to right hand.

Nos 71 to 99 (odd), The Volunteers Arms and Nos 103 to 1l3 (odd) form a group.
