Late C18. 3 storeys. Brick on stone plinth. Stone quoins. Moulded stone
cornice and blocking course. Slate roof. 3 windows, 4 panes wide, to upper
floors. 2 angular stone bays on ground floor, central lights 4 panes wide,
and side lights 2 panes. Central 6-panel door flush type, under stone Greek
Doric porch of 2 columns, wall pilasters, plain architrave and frieze, and
shallow cornice. The front is overgrown with ivy. Interior may be of interest.
Nos 71 to 99 (odd), The Volunteers Arms and Nos 103 to 113 (odd) form a group.
