Corner site with High Street qv. Late C18 refacing of probably earlier building.
3 storeys painted brick with chamfered stone quoins. Brick parapet with stone
coping. Block stone cornice. 2 windows to Wine Street, sashes, no glazing
bars, moulded flush frames, flat brick arches with keystones. 1st floor windows,
similar but paired, block sills. Ground floor has Victorian shop front with
panelled pilasters, frieze and sloping stone cornice. 6 light window to Wine
Street and single light between pilasters to right, segment headed, divided
by thin colonettes with panelled spandrels. To High Street: 1 paired window
on lst floor and 3 light shop window ground floor. Shop door set back across
corner between side lights.
