Detached house. Early C19. Flemish bond brick, hipped Welsh slate
roof, brick stacks. L-plan. Two-storey, 5-window south front.
Central 6-panelled door with transom; light within stone Tuscan
portico, canted bay to left and two to right, all with margin-pane
French windows, plain French windows to far right. First floor has
five 16-pane sashes with flat brick arches, brick pilasters to
sides. Deep eaves to roof. To left is single-storey range with
canted brick bay and French windows, left return has gabled front
with 6-panelled, door and semi-circular headed 2-light casements to
ground and attic floors, moulded stone plat band and coping to
gable. Rear has segmental-headed casements and sashes, tile-hung
square tower with C20 casements. Interior not accessible at time
of survey (February 1987).
