Barn. C16. Timber-framed on rubble stone plinth with weatherboard
cladding, stone slate roof. Five bays plus added stable bay at
west end. Central opening on north side, without doors, small
doorway to left and hipped loading bay to loft with planked door to
right. Loft inserted to two west bays of main barn, collar and
tie-beam truss roof with curved bracing between jowled main posts
and tie-beams, one tier of butt purlins, curved windbracing, all
timbers heavy scantling. Stud holes from wattle and daub visible
on lower side of wall plates. One-bay stable, possibly C17 has
cobbled floor, mangers against end wall of main barn.
