House, now office. Late C18. Sandstone ashlar, slate roof. Rectangular
double-depth plan, plus projecting wing at right-hand end. Two storeys,
symmetrical, in classical style; 1st floor sill band carried round; central
Ionic porch protecting double doors (volutes of left column damaged, doors
altered); tall 15-pane sashed windows at ground floor, 12-pane sashes at
1st floor; moulded cornice and low parapet carried round; low-pitched hipped
roof with 2 chimneys. Two-bay left return wall matching the front except for
canted bay window to rear at ground floor. Projecting at right-hand end a
single-storey pavilion with doorway in re-entrant side and 2 windows in the
front, matching others at ground floor.

Interior: open-string staircase with scrolled brackets, slim turned
balusters, ramped handrail; some moulded plaster cornices.
