House, now shop. Dated on rainwater head 1728. Brick with hipped plain tiled roof. Four storeys, six window range to The Square, eight window range to Market Street. Elevation to The Square has shop front possibly early C20, with panelled dado, decorated heads to glazing bars, and moulded console brackets to fascia. Twelve-pane sash windows above, with flat-arched stuccoed heads and moulded sills. Stuccoed angle quoins. Parapet eaves. Central rainwater head with monogram.

Facade to Market Street is similar, with late C20 shopfront to right, and channelled stucco to ground floor to left, with doorway in reeded architrave with triglyph frieze and fanlight. Entrance arch to passage to left. Two boarded windows to right upper. ainwater head with date, and masks on brackets. Nos 7 and 8 Market Street were listed on 30.5.69.
