Infant school, now house. Dated 1828. For Henry Abel Smith.
Converted late C20. Brick, colourwashed, with ashlar dressings
and slate roof with coped gables. Gable and rear wall stacks,
each with 3 round and octagonal coped flues. Tudor Revival
style. Single storey plus garrets; 5 bays. Windows are renewed
wooden framed casements. Central gabled porch with Tudor
arched double door. To left, two 3-light windows. To right, 2
smaller windows. All the openings have label moulds. Right
return has a single window on each floor.
