Bank. Dated 1895, with late C20 alterations. Ashlar and
polished granite, with ashlar dressings and slate hipped roof
with flat top. 2 coped and panelled side wall stacks.
Rusticated quoins up to attic.
3 storeys plus attics; 5 window range. Projecting centre, 3
windows, under coped pediment with finial and coat of arms.
First and second floors have 3 cross casements framed by Ionic
columns, and beyond, a similar window on each side, with
carved lintel. Both floors have cornices, the upper one
dentilled. Attic storey has double angle pilasters and three
2-light mullioned windows, the central one with mask keystone,
flanked by single windows. All these windows have enriched
keystones. Mansard has 2 small round windows. Granite ground
floor has Doric columns framing a basket arched arcade with
central C20 glazed door flanked by 2 windows, all with
fanlights. Right return, 3 windows, has segmental pediment and
datestone. On the upper floors, a central blank flanked by
single windows. Ground floor has 2 blanks and a C20 window. To
right, a single storey range, 5 blank bays, with rusticated
pilasters. C20 addition above.
