Memorial bust. Dated 1934, by CLJ Doman in memory of Sir Jesse
Boot. Life size bronze bust on a tapered square ashlar
pedestal with plinth and cornice, on a square base.
Jesse Boot, created Lord Trent in 1928, maker and retailer of
patent medicines, was one of Nottingham's leading
industrialists and public benefactors.
This building is part of the architectural scheme of a public
park developed 1921-28 by Sir Jesse Boot.
